Tension headacheTension headache symptoms are usually associated with mild to moderate pain. A tension headache can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an entire week. The severity of the pain varies from one person to another. Occasionally, one might experience light sensitivity, nausea, or blurred vision, but these symptoms are not very common. Many say the pain feels like a tight band around their head. Medically known as a “tension-type headache,” the causes of tension-type headaches are not very well understood. Thankfully, there are effective treatments for managing tension headache symptoms. There are both traditional remedies and alternative treatments available to help alleviate tension headache symptoms.

As some time or another we have al suffered from tension headache.  Some people feel like they have a large rubber band around their head whilst others think their head has been put in a vice and squashed.   . Tension headaches can come in several forms and the pain is either quite mild or can be very severe.  The other thing is that they can come and go in just a couple of hours or they can come and stay for a weeks.
